Strain Relief

One of the leading causes of job site risk is the absence of a power cord strain relief product to take the strain off of the plug/connector join where two cord sets are attached and hanging down the side of a structure. A 10:1 safety factor should be in place to support the weight of the power cord as it is suspended. If no strain relief is used, tying knots in the power cord is not adequate protection for the plug and connector connection point.
